Project Playground

As anyone who has visited Ashmead knows, we are lucky to have such a lovely, tree-filled playground. Several years ago the PTA were kind enough to fund the construction of a walkway through our trees . Sadly, this became too expensive to maintain and had to be removed.

The PTA have worked with us and with the playground specialists Capco to create a new playground design to replace the walkway.

As you can see the new design also integrates trees into the proposed play structure:

We love the design but…it’s expensive! The PTA have set themselves an extremely challenging fund-raising target – called Project Playground – of £50,000 in one year.
